Welcome to Therapeutic Counseling Services of Eastern North Carolina, where compassionate, client-centered care is the foundation of every service I provide. I understand that reaching out for support is a meaningful and often courageous step, and I am honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing, growth, and deeper connection.

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LCMHCS) committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where individuals and couples can explore challenges, strengthen resilience, and experience lasting emotional well-being. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices and tailored to meet your unique needs and goals.

In addition to individual counseling, I offer Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) for marriage and relationship counseling. EFCT helps couples understand negative patterns, heal attachment wounds, and build secure, emotionally connected relationships. This approach is especially effective for couples experiencing conflict, disconnection, or repeated cycles of misunderstanding.

I also provide specialized services, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and biofeedback, to support trauma healing, stress management, and improved emotional regulation. Whether you are seeking trauma-informed care, relationship healing, or a holistic approach to mental health, I am dedicated to helping you find a path that aligns with your values and supports meaningful, lasting change.
It is truly a privilege to support you as you move toward healing, connection, and hope.

I am also deeply committed to supporting the professional growth and development of beginning and associate-level therapists through both individual and group clinical supervision. My supervision approach provides a supportive, collaborative environment where early-career clinicians can build clinical competence, confidence, and clarity as they navigate the complexities of therapeutic work.
My professional background includes experience as a school counselor, work in community mental health settings, care coordination at the MCO level, and serving as a professor in a clinical graduate counseling program. This breadth of experience allows my supervision to be rich with practical resources, systems-level insight, and real-world guidance that supports clinicians across a variety of practice settings.
Through individualized supervision, I offer thoughtful mentorship focused on strengthening clinical skills, ethical and effective decision-making, and the development of a strong, client-centered professional identity. Group supervision offers an additional layer of learning through shared experiences, case consultation, and collaborative discussion, while also fostering a sense of professional community and support.
Whether you are seeking individualized mentorship or a collegial space for collective learning, I am dedicated to helping you grow, develop, and thrive throughout your clinical journey.
